Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street, which included the work Still Life With A Mandolin by Robert MacBryde. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,665.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert MacBryde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red and Black Still Life, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With A Mandolin von Robert MacBryde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.665,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert MacBryde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red and Black Still Life beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.317,37) versteigert wurde.
