This artwork by Robert MacBryde achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2017. In the Yeats: The Family Collection auction, the work Sideboard And Fruit sold for GBP 1,063.00 (€ 1,205.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert MacBryde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red and Black Still Life in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37).
