Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Indian Red Still Life by Robert MacBryde was sold in the Modern British Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,481.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert MacBryde - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red and Black Still Life, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Indian Red Still Life von Robert MacBryde wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.481,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert MacBryde mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red and Black Still Life beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.317,37) versteigert wurde.
