Auction result well in line with expectations
The work No 564, 1985 29.5 x 39.5 x 20.5cm (11 5/8 x 15 9/16 x 8 1/16in). by Robert Klippel was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in November 2020. The price achieved of AUD 4,920.00 (€ 4,117.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Klippel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 507,800.00 (€ 299,727.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit No 564, 1985 29.5 x 39.5 x 20.5cm (11 5/8 x 15 9/16 x 8 1/16in). von Robert Klippel wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 4.920,00 (€ 4.117,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Klippel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 507.800,00 (€ 299.727,08).
