Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Klippel could be acquired at Bonhams in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Australian and International Art Online auction, the work A27, 1958 changed hands for AUD 1,476.00 (€ 880.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of AUD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Klippel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 507,800.00 (€ 299,727.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Klippel konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Australian and International Art Online wechselte die Arbeit A27, 1958 für AUD 1.476,00 (€ 880,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Klippel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 507.800,00 (€ 299.727,08).
