This artwork by Robert Klippel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne in August 2021. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Untitled, 1993 sold for AUD 6,150.00 (€ 5,211.86) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Klippel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 507,800.00 (€ 299,727.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Klippel erzielte im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Australian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1993 für AUD 6.150,00 (€ 5.211,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Klippel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 507.800,00 (€ 299.727,08).
