In December 2010 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, 19th Century & British Drawings & Watercolours, which included the work A farmyard scene with four piglets by Robert Hills. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 580.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Hills have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Herd of Deer Resting In A Glade in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 500,00 (€ 580,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00.
