Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Past/Forward - Part I, which included the work La tour aux rideaux by Robert Delaunay. It changed hands for a price of EUR 138,600.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Delaunay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tour Eiffel in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,737,250.00 (€ 4,462,375.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Past/Forward - Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit La tour aux rideaux von Robert Delaunay zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 138.600,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Delaunay erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tour Eiffel im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.737.250,00 (€ 4.462.375,53).
