Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Pictures and Prints Online, which included the work Woman and Goat, 1948 by Robert Colquhoun. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 701.25 (€ 797.81), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Colquhoun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Two Sisters in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 149,850.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Pictures and Prints Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman and Goat, 1948 von Robert Colquhoun zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 701,25 (€ 797,81) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Colquhoun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Two Sisters im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 149.850,89).
