Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seated Woman (1952) by Robert Colquhoun was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,469.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Colquhoun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Two Sisters in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 149,850.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seated Woman (1952) von Robert Colquhoun kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.469,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Colquhoun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Two Sisters im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 149.850,89).
