Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figure with music stand by Robert Colquhoun was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 25,500.00 (€ 29,707.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Colquhoun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Two Sisters in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 149,850.89).

Die Arbeit Figure with music stand von Robert Colquhoun kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.500,00 (€ 29.707,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Colquhoun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Two Sisters im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 149.850,89).
