Auction result well in line with expectations
The work H.M.S. Romney Capturing The French 44-Gun Sybille And Three Merchantmen In The Roads Off Mykonos, Greece, 17Th June 1794 by Robert Cleveley was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,910.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate.
