The work Head by Robert Clatworthy was sold in the 20th Century British Art including Works from the Collection of Bannon & Barnabas McHenry auction at Christies in London in December 2008. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,100.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Clatworthy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horse & Rider in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 15,258.20).
