Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Deer in the woods by Rien Poortvliet for EUR 360.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rien Poortvliet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tegen de draad in in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Deer in the woods von Rien Poortvliet für EUR 360,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rien Poortvliet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tegen de draad in im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
