Auction result well in line with expectations
The work De egel by Rien Poortvliet was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2002. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 717.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Rien Poortvliet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tegen de draad in in June 2004 with an auction result of EUR 5,975.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit De egel von Rien Poortvliet wurde im Juni 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS & DRAWINGS INCLUDING FLOWER PICTURES bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 717,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rien Poortvliet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tegen de draad in im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.975,00.
