Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ricky Swallow could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Untitled (Studio Suite, Los Angeles) Eight Works changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,241.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ricky Swallow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rehearsal For Retirement in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 31,250.00 (€ 29,587.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ricky Swallow konnte im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Studio Suite, Los Angeles) Eight Works für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.241,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ricky Swallow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rehearsal For Retirement im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 29.587,20).
