Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Dream by Rick Amor was sold in the AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS auction at Christies in Melbourne in November 2003. The price achieved of AUD 14,100.00 (€ 8,505.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rick Amor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Australian Evening By The Sea in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).
