In August 2003 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Study for Still Life in Old Factory by Rick Amor. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 1,762.50 (€ 1,041.20), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rick Amor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Evening By The Sea in August 2007 with an auction result of AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).

Im August 2003 führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for Still Life in Old Factory von Rick Amor zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 1.762,50 (€ 1.041,20) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rick Amor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Evening By The Sea im August 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 90.000,00 (€ 53.817,90).
