Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian under The Bridge: Stormy Sky by Rick Amor was sold in the Important Australian Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2008. The price achieved of AUD 40,800.00 (€ 23,816.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rick Amor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Evening By The Sea, which sold at auction in August 2007 for AUD 90,000.00 (€ 53,817.90).

Die Arbeit Australian under The Bridge: Stormy Sky von Rick Amor wurde im August 2008 in der Auktion Important Australian Art bei Sothebys in Melbourne versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 40.800,00 (€ 23.816,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden.
