Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,465.34). Admittedly, works by Richard Woods have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Personal History in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).

Die Arbeit One Owner 10,000 Miles (Love And Peace) von Richard Woods wurde im Juni 2001 in der Auktion CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.465,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Woods auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Personal History im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 40.016,01).
