Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Richard Woods was worth GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,181.88) to a buyer in December 2019. This price was achieved in the auction The Hoarder Sale at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Woods achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Personal History in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Hoarder Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Woods erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Personal History im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 40.016,01).
