In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction The Hoarder: Part III, which included the work 3 Ferraris and a Westfield Cosworth by Richard Woods. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,803.50), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Woods achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Personal History in November 2009 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 40,016.01).

Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Hoarder: Part III durch, in der auch die Arbeit 3 Ferraris and a Westfield Cosworth von Richard Woods zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.803,50) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Woods erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Personal History im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 40.016,01).
