Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures and Prints, which included the work Pyramid Vase by Richard Spare. The price achieved of GBP 336.00 (€ 490.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Other works by Richard Spare have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2006 the work Aqua Jug was auctioned for GBP 360.00 (€ 525.48).
