In June 2017 Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Sketch #2; Sketch #3; and Sketch #5, from Sketches series by Richard Serra. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,982.31), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Serra achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L.A. Cone in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 4,267,750.00 (€ 3,285,917.77).

Im Juni 2017 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sketch #2; Sketch #3; and Sketch #5, from Sketches series von Richard Serra zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.982,31) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Serra erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L.A. Cone im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.267.750,00 (€ 3.285.917,77).
