In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction, the work Wall Hung Steel Small Sculpture, 1988 sold for USD 14,080.00 (€ 13,303.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Richard Nonas; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Downtown shortline. sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of EUR 15,480.00.
