Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Nonas could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 937.50 (€ 631.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Nonas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Downtown shortline. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 15,480.00.

In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 937,50 (€ 631,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00.
