Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Square Series by Richard Lin was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 1,274,000.00 (€ 152,703.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Richard Lin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work January 1967 in September 2018 with an auction result of HKD 7,670,000.00 (€ 844,082.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Square Series von Richard Lin kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.274.000,00 (€ 152.703,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Richard Lin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit January 1967 im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.670.000,00 (€ 844.082,77).
