Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which included the work Fragment (Harmony in white), 2012 by Richard Learoyd. It changed hands for a price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,830.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Richard Learoyd have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Tatiana Standing' was auctioned for EUR 57,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs Including Property Sold to Benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fragment (Harmony in white), 2012 von Richard Learoyd zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.830,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Richard Learoyd konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Tatiana Standing' für EUR 57.500,00 versteigert.
