Auction result misses estimated price range

In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Nude Washing Her Hair changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,492.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Alan Schmid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Azaleas & Oranges in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,807.90).
