This artwork by Riccardo Licata achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2008. In the Post War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Senza titolo sold for EUR 5,460.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Riccardo Licata - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Senza titolo, which sold at auction in May 2010 for EUR 13,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Riccardo Licata erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Senza titolo für EUR 5.460,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Riccardo Licata mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Senza titolo beobachtet, die im Mai 2010 für EUR 13.000,00 versteigert wurde.
