Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Composition by René Tancula was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 800.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 300.00 (€ 40.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Tancula achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Composition von René Tancula im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 800,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 300,00 (€ 40,29) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Tancula erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96).
