Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) by René Tancula for DKK 1,700.00 (€ 228.05). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by René Tancula have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) von René Tancula für DKK 1.700,00 (€ 228,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Tancula auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96).
