The work “Vanitasmonument” by René Tancula was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in March this year. The result of DKK 2,000.00 (€ 268.40) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by René Tancula have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit “Vanitasmonument” von René Tancula wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 2.000,00 (€ 268,40) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von René Tancula auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Monument for daggryet” (Monument for the dawn) im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96).
