The work Mosselen (Mussels) by René Daniels was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 11,875.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Daniels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eindelijk in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 241,580.60).

Die Arbeit Mosselen (Mussels) von René Daniels kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 11.875,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Daniels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eindelijk im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 241.580,60).
