The work Lland Stival by René Daniels was sold in the Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,764.00 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by René Daniels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eindelijk in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 241,580.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lland Stival von René Daniels wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.764,00 und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von René Daniels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eindelijk im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 269.000,00 (€ 241.580,60).
