Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Far-Reaching Ambition by Ren Zhe. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 750,000.00 (€ 82,172.58). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ren Zhe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Infinite Sprit of Allegiance, which sold at auction in October 2021 for HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 280,315.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Far-Reaching Ambition von Ren Zhe zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 750.000,00 (€ 82.172,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Infinite Sprit of Allegiance beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 280.315,10) versteigert wurde.
