Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Riding Horse in Tian Shan by Ren Yu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,902.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 265,471.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Riding Horse in Tian Shan von Ren Yu wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.902,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 265.471,12).
