Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promising Future by Ren Yu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,989.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 265,471.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Promising Future von Ren Yu wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.989,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 265.471,12).
