Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Planting Banana by Ren Yu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,372.73), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 265,471.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Planting Banana von Ren Yu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.372,73) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 265.471,12).
