Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Landscape by Ren Yu was worth AUD 4,305.00 (€ 3,578.55) to a buyer in April 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Asian Art at Bonhams in Sydney and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of AUD 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 265,471.12).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Ren Yu war einem Käufer im April 2021 AUD 4.305,00 (€ 3.578,55) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 265.471,12).
