The work Gazing Afar On A Standing Horse by Ren Yu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,102.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,800,000.00 (€ 265,471.12).

Die Arbeit Gazing Afar On A Standing Horse von Ren Yu kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.102,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.800.000,00 (€ 265.471,12).
