Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai Collection 「硯琴齋」珍藏中國書畫 Lot 601-731 「杯裏紫茶香代酒，琴中綠水靜留賓」 ——硯琴齋主之書畫收藏 硯琴齋主，祖籍廣東汕頭，生於香港。早年從事貿易，經商之餘耽於傳統藝術。上世紀七十年代，師從本港名家范又新習書，八十年代初先後隨容思澤、吳景略、蔡德允諸師習操縵，並蒐訪歷代琴器，復考其沿革，珍藏唐宋元明以來古斲甚夥。數十年來，以琴會友，多次於港、臺和澳門各大學及博物館舉辦古琴展覽及講座，竭心盡力於古琴藝術之普及推廣。 絲桐之外，硯琴齋主亦雅好丹青�

Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ren Xun could be acquired at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai CollectionThe Online Sale auction, the work Spring Offerings changed hands for HKD 14,025.00 (€ 1,560.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ren Xun konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings From the Yanqinzhai CollectionThe Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Spring Offerings für HKD 14.025,00 (€ 1.560,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
