Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and Birds by Ren Xun was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Paris in June this year. The price achieved of HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,416.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Birds von Ren Xun wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.416,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
