A top price for Ren Xun
This artwork by Ren Xun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Phoenix sold for HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes Phoenix the most expensive artwork by Ren Xun that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ren Xun erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Phoenix für HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Phoenix zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Ren Xun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
