Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Plum Blossoms and Bamboo by Ren Xun was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 94,500.00 (€ 11,219.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Ren Xun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms and Bamboo von Ren Xun kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 94.500,00 (€ 11.219,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ren Xun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
