The work Ink Bamboo by Ren Xun was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,684.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ink Bamboo von Ren Xun kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.684,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
