Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Flowers by Ren Xun for HKD 4,032.00 (€ 464.15). This price was achieved in the auction Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Xun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Phoenix in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 68,338.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowers von Ren Xun für HKD 4.032,00 (€ 464,15) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Dawn of Spring: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Xun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Phoenix im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 68.338,71).
