Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Schadenfreude, Van Dyck - Van Kessel by Rémy Markowitsch was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 858.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Markowitsch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „P20“ aus: „Nach der Natur (After Nature)“., which sold at auction in June 2013 for EUR 3,172.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Schadenfreude, Van Dyck - Van Kessel von Rémy Markowitsch kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 858,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Markowitsch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „P20“ aus: „Nach der Natur (After Nature)“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für EUR 3.172,00 versteigert wurde.
