Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Sans Titre, 1986 by Rémy Blanchard was sold in the Contemporary Art 2 auction at Artcurial in Paris in April 2008. It achieved a price of EUR 3,718.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 24 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man With Lantern And Feather, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,960.30).

Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1986 von Rémy Blanchard wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.718,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 24 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man With Lantern And Feather beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 16.562,50 (€ 13.960,30) versteigert wurde.
