This artwork by Rémy Blanchard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans Titre - 1988 sold for EUR 4,940.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rémy Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man With Lantern And Feather, which sold at auction in July 2021 for USD 16,562.50 (€ 13,960.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rémy Blanchard erzielte im März 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1988 für EUR 4.940,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rémy Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man With Lantern And Feather beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für USD 16.562,50 (€ 13.960,30) versteigert wurde.
